Program Description:

The health, safety, and security of students faculty and staff traveling abroad is a top priority at Wright State University. To ensure that all travel opportunities through the university are able to run safely, we have developed a travel risk rating and assessment application.

Please see charts below for countries that are classified as being a risk. This application is required to be submitted for any groups or individuals traveling to a country that is listed within any of these risk categories.

Once you click Apply Now, your program/travel will be reviewed by the Education Abroad Committee. You will then be notified if your application has been accepted or denied.

TIER 1 - UNIVERSAL RISK

Travelers should not assume that travel to Tier 1 destinations is devoid of risk. Hazards such as inadequate medical facilities, ongoing demonstrations and exposure to tropical diseases do not necessarily result in a country being assigned to a higher tier. Travelers to these countries are still advised to read the country specific information at the U.S. Department of State Travel Advisory and CDC destination profile prior to travel.
